Self-compassion is an antidote to suffering and. It is a truth that no one gets through life unscathed without suffering.

The Four Pillars of Self-Compassion

  1. Awareness – Be aware of what you need in the moment to relieve your own suffering.
    • Be honest with yourself and accept yourself for where you are and understanding where you want to be.
  2. Patience – Our lives are our own unique timeline.  
  3. Confidence and Trust – Trust you are doing what you need to do and it’s going to be enough.
  4. Forgiveness – Forgive yourself, let go and love yourself enough to take the next step forward.
