Episode Notes:

  • Go into the holidays with plan.
  • Set an intention with the feelings you want to feel.

Eight Simple Self-Care Practices for the Holidays:

  1. If you are feeling stressed, give yourself permission to stop.
    •   Stop – Breath – Begin Again
  2. If you are feeling overwhelmed, remember to breathe.
  3. If you are feeling lonely, remind yourself that you can be your own best company. If you have down time or alone time, take advantage of it by starting to cultivate the very best relationship with yourself.
  4. If you are feeling confused , journal your thoughts when you need some clarity on decisions you have to make.
  5. If you are feeling frustrated, move your body.
  6. If you are feeling angry, find those activities that bring you joy.
  7. If you feel distracted, practice being present.
  8. If you feel disappointed, practice gratitude.
